Ha Ha Tonka State Park is a wonderful place for outdoor recreation and historical education. This state park is surrounded by natural enclaves of forestry and hills overlooking the lake. Ha Ha Tonka is filled with hiking paths that lead to natural springs, caves and the “castle” ruins. This historic site is over 3,700 acres, located just south of Camdenton, Missouri on the Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.

Ha Ha Tonka is considered the most beautiful state park in Missouri. It is also a great place to take the family for picnics and gatherings. There are plenty of animals and wildlife to see as you walk through the paths. People love this place because of the almost mystical feeling it instills inside.

From the fields off D Road, you will drive past the Turkey Pen which has a large natural sinkhole, this area is currently closed for reconstruction and remediation due to a collapse.  Further down the road, you will drive unsettlingly close to the old limestone post office near Natural Bridge.  This is an underground tunnel formed by the springs.  The Ha Ha Tonka spring is a few hundred steps below the Castle and Watertower, and provides some of the most stunning scenery on earth.
